| The Dijon clones, 76, 95 and 96, were vinified in separate lots and married together before bottling. Approximately half of the Chardonnay was barrel fermented and spent twelve months in French oak sur lies. The remainder was fermented in stainless steel and also allowed to rest sur lies for twelve months. The intoxicating bouquet exhibits honeyed notes of almonds and vanilla and displays a crisp acidity with apricot and melon undertones. It pairs well with seafood, aged cheeses, dried fruit and nuts. This wine is an excellent warm weather companion so enjoy it now or savor it later. Critics Challenge Silver Award Winner, 2007
