| Latitude 45 is directly intersected by the 45th parallel like many of the great vineyard properties of France. It is the south facing block of Pinot Noir vines that greets you when passing through the Left Coast gates. Its 12 acres are planted in Dijon clones 114, 115 and 667 and grafted onto 101-14 and SO4 rootstocks. Here you will also find Lake Suzuki, spring fed and the center of our gravity fed irrigation, named in honor of family friends. The bright blossoms of the roses at the end of every third vineyard row attest to the good health of the vines. With its prominent red fruit and spice, Latitude 45, managed to produce low yields, is bottled and marketed as a unique vineyard designate. Back to Our Vineyards |
