| The 12-acre Right Bank block is one of three dual varietal vineyards on the Left Coast Cellars property. With 11 acres planted to Pommard clone Pinot Noir and 1 acre of Noir clone Syrah, this southwest facing knoll, with its rocky, shallow soils, possesses a uniquely warm microclimate and extreme soil conditions. These special characteristics promote the intensity of the resulting wines. The Pinot will be used to craft the popular and friendly Cali's Cuvee and will be added as well to the ageable and complex Suzanne's Reserve blends. In the not too distant future, we look forward to offering our first releases of Syrah from this vineyard. Back to Our Vineyards |
