| Left Bank is to the left of the back road, on the way to Truffle Hill. Another dual varietal vineyard, Left Bank is devoted to our white wines. With Dijon clone Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc on its southeast facing ridge, our Left Bank whites possess a distinct minerality and austerity paired with appropriate ripe fruit characteristics and acidity. This vineyard has come to be known around the winery as the best place for the amateur archaeologist due to the discovery of fragments of ancient seashells and fossils in its sedimentary soils.
