| Only 80 cases produced, this Estate Reserve Chardonnay is a study in balance and finesse. Aged in 100% new, special order barrels, from the premiere forests of central France, this Chardonnay simply leaps from the glass with fruit and spice. Not dominated by the oak, the nose is profuse with pear, quince and apple pie aromas with a just a hint of wet stone for complexity. The lively palate suggests lemon custard and melon, moving to a nutmeg spice and distinctive minerality in the smooth and copiously long finish. The seamless integration of oak tannins and crisp acidity will allow this Chardonnay to age 5-7 years. VERY LIMITED
