Left Coast Cellars is guided by the principle belief that only great grapes result in great wine. We produce exclusively estate-grown varietals, the grapes harvested and vinified to promote their varietal character. Perhaps it is through his profound relationship with the land and the vines that viticulturist and winemaker, Luke McCollom, is able to express a true sense of terroir, with each vintage.With a marriage of Old World and state of the art winemaking techniques, Luke and his devoted crew and passionate staff tend to each wine, from vine to bottle. Our wines are aged in barrel and/or tank and then in the bottle until they reach the maturity that is deemed appropriate for the vintage. Left Coast's inaugural 2004 Pinot Noir vintages were released in 2007; successive vintages will reflect a similar time frame in barrel and bottle prior to their release.
